NO FILTER FOOD
Hi! My name is Amanda Martin, and I am a DC-based Chef. I graduated from Culinary school a couple of years ago and have worked in a few restaurants since then. I enjoy sharing the things that I make and how to make them. So I am here to help you! I'm not here to make beautiful and expensive food that tastes average. I am going to make delicious and inexpensive food that looks average. No professional photographers are here, just real, raw, authentic, and unedited food. I hope you like it, and please be nice to me because I don't know how blogs work.
enjoy, sans filter!

o, my cousin shared this recipe with me, from Simply Happy Foodie. Whether you have an Instant Pot, a Crock Pot or a stove and a pot, this recipe is delicious and a must have! its creamy, its herbaceous, and most importantly its quick and easy!
I grew up eating those chicken pot pies you buy in the freezer section and on the rare occasion that we would get them I would ALWAYS without fail, dig in way to fast and burn the heck out of my tongue. But having home made, from scratch pot pie is a real treat and something you can always count on being a win with the fam!
People wanted this recipe but honestly, I make it different every time. Sweet potatoes are very important for this hash but if all you have are regular potatoes then do not fear, it will still be delicious. This is very much a throw together what you have kind of dish, thats why it's always fun and very seasonal!
Okay, so this is NOT an original recipe at all, I will leave a link to the real recipe at the end, but I am going to write what I did and what I used to make it my own. This is such an easy, fun and different kind of pizza to make, so if you want to do something unique for pizza night then look no further!
[Amanda’s Dad doing a guest post on her new blog] Irish Cream is a favorite in the Martin household. Be it a nice addition to hot coffee or the main ingredient to an “Irish Car Bomb.” It is always in our liquor cabinet. (At least the store bought Bailey’s kind.) But can we make our own?
This recipe is a must have in your recipe box, and you will impress your friends with how easily and nonchalantly you make this dish. Honestly for this, the recipe is so loose, and you know I am not a big "by the book person" but I will try my best to make a real recipe that makes sense.
First up on this hot and muggy July day is Minestrone Soup! One of my family's favorites, mainly because of my mom's super Italian genes and anything with pasta and tomatoes in it is going to be a staple in our household. This soup is so versatile because you can really just add any vegetables you have... seriously.
